Cyphervine ("we," "our," or "us") operates the PrismDrop mobile application (the "App"). 1. Information We Collect

We process information to deliver a smooth game environment, store progress, manage high scores, and compile leaderboard metrics.

A. Account and Profile Information

If you choose to authenticate using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In:

  • Unique User ID (UID): A secure identifier linked to your Firebase Authentication profile.
  • Profile Details: Display Name and profile photo URL retrieved from your login provider to display your name and picture on public leaderboards.

B. Gameplay, Scores & Merging Data

To enable score validation, game states, and daily tracking:

  • Game Session Data: Live scores, evolution progress, merge counts, and highest block tier reached.
  • Leaderboard History: Monthly high score submissions stored in Cloud Firestore.
  • Daily Login Streaks: Local drift database status synced to cloud records to validate consecutive login milestones.

C. Device and Telemetry Logs

We collect diagnostic and telemetry data to analyze game performance:

  • Mobile device model, operating system version (iOS/Android), and app version.
  • Crash reports and performance telemetry (such as game frame rate and Box2D simulation errors).

2. Legal Bases for Processing (EU Users)

If you are located in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases of the GDPR:

  • Performance of Contract: To maintain your profile, handle game state recovery, and deliver leaderboard lists.
  • Legitimate Interests: To detect and prevent leaderboard manipulation, track system performance, and improve physical simulations.
  • Consent: When you voluntarily submit an account deletion request or enable diagnostic telemetry reporting.

3. Data Storage, Security & International Transfers

We utilize the following storage systems:

  • Local Data: Game states are saved on your device using an SQLite database (via Drift/SQLite).
  • Cloud Services: Auth records and leaderboards are managed via Google Cloud and Firebase platforms.

International Transfers: Since Google Cloud and Firebase servers may be located outside the EEA, we ensure that standard contractual clauses (SCCs) are in place to safeguard your data transfer and keep your profile metrics secure.

4. Your GDPR & Privacy Rights

As a user (particularly inside the EU/EEA), you possess distinct rights regarding your personal records:

  • Right to Access: Retrieve a summary of the profile data we hold on you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request changes to correct inaccurate profile data.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Submit a request to permanently delete your account, scores, and active logs through our Account Deletion Request Page. The deletion process will complete within 30 days. Signing back in during the 30 days will cancel the deletion request.
  • Right to Data Portability: Obtain a machine-readable copy of your leaderboard data.
  • Right to Restrict or Object: Oppose or request that we pause processing certain game telemetry data.

5. Children's Privacy

PrismDrop is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe your child has submitted details, please contact us immediately to remove it from our cloud records.
